Robert is Global head of Internal Audit Operations and Technology/ Global Business Ventures (P&C Insurance, Life and Pensions, new digital insurance offerings) at the Zurich Insurance Group.

Robert is a recognized expert in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Data Management and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, ,Cyber Security, Digital, and New Technology, Innovation at the board and senior management level in Property and Casualty Insurance in retail and commercial, Reinsurance, Life and Pension, Fintech and Banking.

Robert is the founder and head of the Audit Experience Group (IIA) of Data Science with Heads of Audit/ Heads of Operation Audit (Banks, Insurance and Reinsure Companies, Pharmaceutical and Industry) and ECIIA Panel Speaker.

He is speaker in major industry events and authored several papers in the field of security, digital and artificial intelligence auditing. He has Ph.D. in Natural Science from ETH Zurich, master thesis in Glaciology, and Ph.D. in Geophysics
